Well I know some people read this so I might as well make it a little interesting, as well as taking the opportunity to say yes Im still alive and kicking as have seemed to disappeared off the radar and not seen many ppl in a while so here goes....
Only had two exams both of which were pretty good, spaced nearly a wk apart which made a nice big change to the norm! Followed by nearly 2 wks 'off' in which i had a short essay to write, in between however was last wk...!
Sat/Sun/Mon - Weekend in London, met up with Lucy, and old college friend on the sat/sun down in south tooting, was great to catch up as not seen her in months. This was followed (in killing 2 birds with one stone style) with seeing Claire on the sun/mon on the other side of London up near Golders Green. Was fab seeing her again, meeting her housemates and generally having a fab break away from everything, I really must do that more often if can make the time and ppl are about...!!
Tues and Weds - Both nights spent working Little Britain Live tour at city hall as a steward, very good production wise but not so my taste in actual content
Thurs - The Kooks! FUZZ club like Ive never seen it before. If you havent heard of this band before then its likely you will in the coming months. They have played support for FUZZ twice before but this time headlining. In fact headlining isnt the right word, dominating I think is a better word, when have you ever known about 60-70entries for FUZZ tickets to appear on ebay!! Bleach was empty for nearly the whole night and foundry crowd halved when they came off stage at 12, this wasnt fuzz this was a Kooks gig! Pit barrier and crowd surfers...! At fuzz?? The most surreal point I think tho was during the setup when the leadsinger made the effort to come over to me to shake my hand and ask how I was, ended up having a good ol' chat :-) Seems he actually remembered me from the past two gigs played there, where I had worked them both and spoke to him briefly, got a couple of bemused looks from some of the other crew members lol
Fri - Worked city hall classical gig
Sat - Stagemanaged All American Rejects in the foundry, not fantastic tho didnt really get much time to watch the gig as was running round sorting out things for the superfast out we needed to do to get packed down and set up for poptarts, slightly slower than hoped but that would be due to the extra monitor, FOH mixing desks and multicore brought along which werent fully expecting! Also American crew, those who have ever worked with one will know what I mean... nuff said!! (SLOW for those that havent!)
Sun - SLEEP!!!!!!! :-) lol
This week:

Tues (2moz) - 7am in time in the octagon, NME tour with Actic Monkeys, Maximo Park, We are Scientists, Mystery Jets on the lineup. Have a hall tour, project meeting and lecture in the avo so going to be a busy day!
Weds - Working City Hall, "An Evening with Michael Vaughan", fun....
Thurs - 8am start in Octagon for the Belle and Sebastian gig.
Fri - I think that this is probs an opportunity to do some Uni work.... lol
Sat - 7am have to be at Arena! Setup for The Darkness (strange to think that the last time I worked this gig was as a steward and the 1st time I met blazingskies)
